What is made to order?

At Haus Dahlia we use a made to order process to cut back on waste. This means that we start making your order as soon as you place it! This process takes up to 6 weeks from when the order is placed. If you need it sooner let us know, although we cannot guarantee it will be made by then. We do have pieces that are ready to ship as soon as ordered and these will be marked with 'Ready to Ship.'

Are your corsets true to size?

Corsets will run smaller than standard size measurements or your own if you choose made to measure. Corsets will run approximately 10 cm smaller overall, this is traditionally how corsets are made as they act like a second skin.

Do you offer made to measure?

We do offer made to measure! Made to measure orders require you to do a few things. You need to follow our guides and measure the relevant areas for ordering with us. There will be a selection for made to measure in the size section on the product page, and you will need to let us know the relevant measurements in the text box at checkout. Email or message via social media accounts in case of confusion. You should take care as this is entirely your own responsibility and if any problems should occur it will be your problem to fix. If there is a problem with fit such as it is too big, we would be happy for you to send it back to be altered. If it is too tight, we will not be able to alter anything.

Do you offer alterations?

If you find that your garment is too big for you then we will happily alter it for free if you return within 10 days. However after the 10 days we will ask for a £25 alteration fee. If you are in need of an alteration then contact us here. Depending on the alteration it may take 2 to 4 weeks. If your garment is too small/tight we cannot offer an alteration service, so please email us if this is the case. However if it is a standard size garment we can offer a new size or store credit. Please note that alterations are for UK residents at the moment.
